What’s different about 2WayTrust Appraisals

We are currently developing a new approach towards Performance Appraisals that will be available for sale on this site from late January.

The preview that will shortly be on this page will give you a good feel for what this product can offer you. It has been designed for team leaders as a new tool to help them improve team performance, and has eliminated the technique of scoring that gets in the way of honest discussion.

2WayTrust Appraisals involve a series of one-to-ones between the team leader and each member of their team and are based on the principle of self-assessment. Everything that’s said is off the record.

At the end of each one-to-one the team leader draws up a one-page written outcomes note that is on the record. These notes are then shared at a special meeting for the team to discuss what came out of the appraisals and how members might support each other more in achieving their team goals.

As you will see from the preview, when you download versions of 2WayTrust Appraisals they will be personalised to each team leader, with their name appearing at the end of the introduction and in the footer on every page. The document is written as if it is coming directly from the team leader.

This new appraisals system has been developed to sit alongside 2WayTrust Feedback. We hope that 2WayTrust Feedback will help to create a more open culture within which team members feel able to share some of the feedback they have received as part of their appraisal.

At the same time, it is a fundamental point of principle that each individual participating in an informal Feedback group decides whether or not to take their personal outcomes into their formal appraisal with their Manager.

The cost of 2WayTrust Appraisals will range from £75 each for 1-5 versions and £50 each for more than 50.
